Ishikawa business trip

So, I'm working away this week, in Ishikawa, a new prefecture for me. For working anyway; I was here once before as a tourist in the '90s. At that time I sampled the delights of Kenrokuen just up the road in Kanazawa, and I just might do so again tomorrow on my day off.

The working time is early start and early finish, so there's plenty of time in the evenings to explore. Ishikawa sits on the west side of Japan, looking out across the Sea of Japan and, as you can see below, there was even time to walk to the beach (about an hour away) and watch the sun go down.
