Top 10 albums - 2015

In previous years, I have really struggled to narrow my choices down to just the ten. In fact, for the past two years fifteen has been a real struggle. This year, in sharp contrast, I had to really think about it... really think about how to pad out the only eight albums I really liked, with a couple that were at least interesting, if not absolutely loved. As usual... in one particular order:
10. Sufjan Stevens – Carrie & Lowell

9. Foals – What Went Down

8. Sleaford Mods – Key Markets

7. Tame Impala – Currents

Kids playing in the park

On a recent outing (for a junior tennis tournament), there was time for some park play. It was a beautiful early winter day and I had my camera with me.

Kamaishi - evening stroll

On my most recent visit, I arrived in time to take a twilight stroll, and headed up the hill to the west of the city in the hope of catching the view out to towards the ocean before the sun finished its journey.

It wasn't bright, the cloud coming in to meet the dusk, but the view was great; from the green-roofed factory buildings, out past the huge Diakannon and into the bay.
