Sea, saw, scene

Spending a day walking in my favourite area, means I get to spend a day photographing my favourite things. The ocean is one - chiefly because of the colour and the light, but also because of the power and the mood - the mountain is another.

In Kanaya the two are close together, meshed even - the one rising from the other - and both have their bonuses; the ocean faces west, meaning that a glorious sunset is never far away, the mountain (Saw Mountain) has a beautiful temple nestled on its southern side, which is both a trap for the sun and for my inner spirituality.

I love this walk... really love it. And will do it again, and again, and again...
